Knee Pain

A 67 yrs old woman visits our clinic, and she complains that she had been suffering from pain and swelling in the middled side of both knees for the past 6 years. She had cancer before. She also reports that she has poor sleep. Her tongue was red without coating and with cracks. Her pulse was fine.

Even though this patient has no too many symptoms, we still can seduce that the pain in the knees is due to invasion of cold and dampness against Kidney Yin deficiency. Our treatment priciple is to resolve dampness, expel cold, and remove obstructions from the channels. She treated with acupuncture only. 

After the first treatment, the pain reduced, and she can walk much more than before. After 10 sessions treatments, she travelled with her family about one month. She was so exited to tell us that she had no pain during the travel.
